Squash at Hamilton

The Club's squash facilities are undoubtedly the best in the Waikato with a total of six courts, one court being glass back.

Participation in squash is offered to people of all ages and abilities with weekly club nights organised, including junior evenings and Business house. Both winter and summer Interclubs are enthusiastically supported as is the participation of teams in national competitions.

Many tournaments are run throughout the year from fun one day events to the Waikato Open, and juniors to masters.

Two courts have proudly been named in recognition of club members for their outstanding services to squash. Murray Day for his unparalleled administration skills and Susan Devoy, undisputedly the best woman squash player ever.

Business House 

Monday Nights from 6.00pm

10 - 12 week fun but competitive event made up of teams of 3 players from a variety of organisations throughout Hamilton.  Let us know if you are keen to know more or wish to put your team in for the next round...Highly recommended!

Interclub

Tuesday and Wednesday Evening

Interclub is a yearly 12-week competition spread over 2 seasons; Winter and Spring. The competition is played between teams from other clubs within the region and is open to all grades. Each team is made up of about 4-7 players. Men play on a Tuesday and Women play on a Wednesday both from 7 pm onwards. Ask the club about entering a team for the next round!

Junior Coaching Program

Thursday afternoons, 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Come along to try it out! Non-members are welcome to attend two free trial sessions.

Suitable for ages 8 - 14.

Free for members. $80 term fee for non-members.

Woman and Wine 

Beginners Ladies Squash Program 

Try squash in a fun 6-week program designed to introduce to you the basics of the game and meet other ladies of the same abilities. After each session, enjoy a complimentary drink whilst getting to know the group and the coach. $80 per person with sessions running for an hour and 15 minutes. Upon completion of the course, the club will offer all participants a special offer of a full membership for $350 valued at $435.

HSTC Club Night

Looking for regular games in a relaxed, social, and well-organised environment? HSTC Club Night is the perfect way to get on court, meet other players, and enjoy competitive matches matched to your ability.

Simply register your interest, and Barry will organise the games based on your skill level. An email will be sent out to everyone registered with the draw and playing details before each session, so you know exactly when and who you’re playing.
